Mens Suits Advice

HEY GUYS...WANT SOME TIPS ON WHAT TO WEAR TO WEDDINGS ?

Ah yes...what to wear to the wedding.  And it’s not just the fairer sex who have wedding wardrobe wobbles, it happens to the guys too.

Whether you’re choosing menswear for the bridal party, the groom, the father of the bride or as a guest to the nuptials...you need to make sure your choice is a smart one.  After all, wedding photos and videos last a whole lot longer than the party hangover...and you wouldn’t want your mens fashion flop on display in perpetuity.

Choosing the right attire for the big day is essential says Stepping Up Menswear, a leading supplier of mens wear in Busselton.  The first thing you need to do is to check whether the invitation has a dress code.  If the invite stipulates ‘black tie’ – then you need to dig out your tuxedo.  You can also wear your tuxedo if the dress code is ‘formal’, but usually a dark suit would be your best choice of menswear.  ’Morning suits’ ie. top hats and tails is generally reserved for very traditional English style weddings, very grand occasions or celebs or royals tying the knot.

As a general rule, weddings are formal occasions which demand the right attire...ie suits for men.  That is if the couple isn’t celebrating the sharing of their vows barefoot on a beach or a garden somewhere, clad in flowing white linen !  Then you’d have to rethink your mens fashion choices and leave the dark grey suit in the wardrobe !  The time and season of the wedding also dictates the choice of menswear, with spring/summer day time weddings allowing for lighter coloured mens suits in lighter weight fabrics with nightime and winter weddings requiring dark suits (navy, black, charcoal grey) usually made from pure wool or a wool blend.  A tuxedo is a nighttime suit – generally not worn before five in the evening.

You should choose a mens suit that complements your body shape.  If you’re short and slim, opt for a jacket that has two or three buttons and a deep ‘V’ shape to elongate your body.  A single breasted jacket with one or two buttons is best for short and wider men.

Another rule of wedding attire is that guests shouldn’t overshadow the bridal party.  ie if the groom is wearing a flash tuxedo, then you should opt for a dark men’s suit.

If you’re in any doubt about what to wear to a wedding – why not ask the specialist wedding suit hire shops for advice ?.  They’ll have plenty of good ideas and advice on what formal wear is best ‘suited’ to the occasion – and to your shape – and they’ll help you make the most flattering choice.

After the tragic death of his wife, a young American writer decides that a radical change to his life may help the healing process. On the advice of friends he returns to the land of his forefathers. Arriving in the village of Lower Aghada in the south of Ireland he took residence with an elderly lady who treated him like her own son. Knowing of the death of his wife she did all in her power to provide accommodations suited to his profession. His invitation to join a debating group in the local pub not only provided the distraction to put the past in the past, it also introduced him to a group of men who would become part of his extended family. His attendance at morning mass in the company of his landlady brought the wrath of his debating buddies. Their challenges to his Christian beliefs were relentless and vitriolic. However, his radical interpretation of biblical text caused them to rethink their own opinions. The challenge was now for them to look at scripture in a new way.
